LANGUAGE
The official language of the Symposium is English. There will be no simultaneous interpretation.
ABSTRACTS
Authors interested in presenting data are requested to submit an abstract for proffered papers or posters. The deadline for abstracts submission is May 30th 2010. Selected Proffered Papers will be presented at the Proffered Papers and Poster Discussion Session.
Posters will be reviewed by a reviewer and discussed during the session. Posters will be presented in Digital Screens. A modern digital system with tactile screens provides the continuous display of the posters as well as the individual view of the selected poster.
WEATHER AND CLOTHING
The weather in Marbella in June is warm and the days are shiny. The day temperature can average
between 24º and 28º C.
Dress will be casual for all conference events.
INSURANCE
The organisers will not be responsible for individual, medical, travel or personal insurance.
Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance policies.
NO SMOKING
Smoking will be forbidden in all conference areas.
MOBILE PHONES
Mobile phones must be disconnected during all the sessions.
REGISTRATION
A) Procedures:
Please return the completed Registration Form to the ESOC-6. Information must be
printed or typed exactly as you wish it to appear on your badge.
All Registration Forms must be accompanied by payment or copy of bank transfer in order to be
processed. Confirmation of registration will be sent to participants on receipt of payment. Please
present this letter at the Conference Registration desk to collect the conference documents.

- Taxes Included.
- Physicians in training must presernt a document signed by the Head of Department.
- Registration includes Pre Conference Course, entrance to all sessions, coffee-breaks, Program, Welcome Cocktail and
Conference Dinner.
- Accompanying persons fee includes Welcome Cocktail and Conference Dinner.
C) Payment:
All payments must be made in Euro to Fundación para la Investigación y Formación en
Oncología by bank transfer or credit cards, such as American Express, Eurocard, Master Card or
Visa. Please fill in: card number, expiration date, cardholder’s name and signature. Personal,
company or Eurocheques are not accepted.
D) Cancellations:
All cancellations must be sent in writing. Cancellations received before May 15, 2010 will be
refunded except for a 15% of administration fee. After this date there will be a 50% refund. All
refunds will be processed after the Conference.
ACCOMMODATION
A) Procedures:
Rooms have been booked in Hotel Barceló Marbella ( the Conference headquarters) from June 21nd to June 25th. Please check with the secretariat for other dates. Please indicate your requirements on the Reservation Form and send it to
the secretariat.
Hotel Accommodation will be booked on a first-come first-served basis and room rates nor room
availabilty can be guaranteed after April 12, 2010.

C) Payment:
Payment should be made in Euro and sent to the secretariat along with the Hotel
Reservation Form.
Written confirmation of your hotel booking with full address will be sent to you. It should be
presented to the hotel upon arrival. Please indicate clearly your name and address on all
remittances.
D) Cancellation:
All cancellations must be sent in writing. Before May 15th, 2010, full reimbursement will be given, except for a 15% of handling fee.
Before May 12 full reimbursement, except 15% of handling fee. One-night deposit will be
charged for cancellations made after that date. No reimbursement will be given 7 days
prior to the conference.
Reimbursements will be dealt after the conference.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAM
Accompanying people are welcome to the Welcome Reception and Closing Dinner.
